The first time purchase of Cinnamon Bun Philosophy Lip Shine which was a year ago for my teenage daughter and she loves the lip gloss and she also likes Cinnamon Buns for a desert treat, she told me it was scent and the fragrance was like the real Cinnamon Buns but without the calories!

I love the Cinnamon Buns shower gel, so I thought I would try the lip gloss. For one thing, it smells/tastes nothing like Cinnamon buns. I dont know what the flavor is, but I dont like it. Maybe they have added almond or something. Secondly, its way too sticky. My hair kept getting stuck to my lips. It reminds me of vaseline. Since I got this product in a kit, I cannot return it, but I will not be using it again.

I received a tube of philosophys cinnamon buns flavored lip gloss for Christmas (along with other philosophy products). I was super excited to try this because Ive been told by numerous people that philosophys products are spectacular.

First, I must point out that there are sparkles in this lip gloss. Although theyre very subtle on your lips, if youre the type of gal who hates sparkles and shimmer in your makeup, Id stay away from this product. As for smell, it DOES smell like cinnamon buns. It certainly does not TASTE like it however (which is a good thing... I tend to lick off my lip gloss if it tastes good... this lip gloss does not taste good). Its very sticky and thick so you dont have to use too much. It also stays on your lips for a good amount of time.

Would I suggest this product? If youre looking for a good-smelling, long lasting lip gloss, Id definitely recommend this. However, if these two things dont matter to you Id suggest you skip this ($10 for a tube of lip gloss isnt cheap after all) and go for a drugstore brand lip gloss.

Yes, the aromas are enchanting and fun, but the product is really good. I didnt believe you could really use these for shampoo, but you can and your hair will be soft and fluffy and lovely!

This lotion I use everyday and have for a couple of years now and I LOVE it. This product plus a few other little additions fragrance wise and I am telling you I get stopped in public constantly with people telling me how good I smell! The gyno even commented!!!! I love for several reasons the smell is strong enough to be noticed but not overwhelming. I cant do floral type fragrances because I will get a migraine. This is perfectly fabulous!

I will be purchasing this item for as long as I can. First, the smell is wonderful. My boyfriend commented on that immediately. Secondly, I noticed a difference in my face in about 2 weeks. I have noticed slight differences on my body, but mostly in my face. I use it daily, at least once and sometimes twice. Alot goes a long way though. I noticed I dont use as much of this as I did my regular lotion. Im very happy with this purchase!!!

Nowadays we hear a lot about feeling good on the inside. And, Im all about happiness from within. In this case its found within a box, a bottle, a tube, oh and a jar! Im talking about one of my FAVORITE bath and beauty brands, "PHILOSOPHY" ! Ironic since philosophy is one of my favorite subjects to read, discuss, or ponder. And now I love to submerse my entire body in it!

While PHILOSOPHY has hundreds of products that cover skincare, makeup, and bath...my favorite PHILOSPHY product, by far, is "Amazing Grace". Wow, just thinking about it makes me swoon! Yeah, thats right, Im in LOVE with it. The name itself envokes the wonderment of effortless beauty and charm, and that my friends is what it smells like.

Lets see, how can I best describe the fragrance? Hmmmm....the scent of Amazing Grace is like the beat of a drum off into the distance...you hear it gently, it peaks your interest, as you get closer to the sound it makes you want to sway to the beat, and by the time youre up on it, it overwhelms your senses. Some say it reminds them of a day on the beach, but mostly, Ive been told that it is intoxicating......Translate that into a smell and youve got it! It is fresh, subtly sweet, with a delicate hint of musk.

The line has approximately 11 items in it: perfumed firming body emulsion, hand cream, perfume, oil, combination shower gel/shampoo, bubble bath, hair conditioner, soap, body splash, and there use to be a small tin that was a wax like substance. However, I have not seen that product in some time. Shame because it was great!

Now the only product that I do NOT like in the line is the salt scrub! Something was lost in translation on this one. It smells nothing like Grace!

Now, if youve never experienced Philosophys Amazing Grace there is one place you can try it out. Take a little field trip to your closest Sephora. Sephora, a retailer that carries hundreds of beauty lines, is a great place to purchase Philosophy. There you can sample the product and make purchases in smaller quantities if you wish. But TRUST me. Once youve tried it, youll want to get the big gulp size!

If you really want to know how this smells, go to a drug store or Wal-Marts and smell the old fragrance Jean Nate. Its a light version of this. I havent noticed anything really different about the moisturizing qualities. Its just ok. Ive only used it for about 1 month now..so far, Im not impressed by smell or quality.

For $15, this 1 oz tube is not worth it at all. It smells like the rose shaped soap my grandma used to leave in the bathroom. It doesnt moisterize any better then anything else you could buy. So save your money for a different brand and larger tube!

I just received this item today, along with other Philosphy items. The scent is very subtle, but nice. The moisture level is good, and feels very nice, not sticky or greasy. Based on this, the product deserves 4 stars, at least.

However, I am giving it 3 stars because I was so disappointed to discover that the tube is only 1 oz, for $15.00. I probably would not have purchased it had it been made more clear that it was just a 1 oz tube. I consider 1 oz to be a sample size, and am surprised that Philosophy sells such a small size for $15.00. I believe it should be at least 4 oz, or make the product description clearer. I think I assumed the item was 4 oz because its paired with another product that is 4 oz, under the buy both together option.

Philosophy and Amazon: please state the product size clearly. The image you give is not clear enough to show the product size.

I love Philosophy products! This cream works wonders on my hands and I love that it is not greasy. The hand cream absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving you with smooth and soft hands. The downfall is that it is pricey. A one ounce tube for $15 doesnt last very long. Also, the Amazing Grace scent does not translate the same in this cream as it does the other Amazing Grace products. However, it works so well, it is worth the money.

I had got one of the philosophy gift sets as a gift and wanted to give this set to a friend for her birthday thinking that the size of the bottles would be the same. But it was not! These bottles were smaller which I wasnt expecting. If the bottle size wouldve been the same as the one I got I wouldve given this a 4 star.

Love this kit! Really cute idea for a birthday gift even if you give one to yourself. Which I did! I cant live without the "Kiss Me Red" lip balm. Its staying power is the best Ive ever found. The other products in the kit are also favorites and now I have them in perfect travel sizes.

I started using philosophy shower gels about a year ago when I discovered that they seem to be the only scented shower gels out there that dont make my super sensitive skin break out, even when I shave with them. Amazing Grace is my favorite scent. Its just so clean and soothing, with hints of baby powder and floral notes. Unlike a lot of the other philosophy scents, Amazing Grace is not overly sweet and it doesnt leave you smelling like a baked good. Its a nice clean scent that lasts all day. The gel has a good, long lasting lather, and doesnt leave any kind of residue. It has quickly become one of my favorite beauty items, both for myself and to give as a gift.

Talk about all in one, this product does it all. It smells so irresistible and sultry. Its amazing. I love everything about it. I use it as my shampoo, my body wash, and my bubble bath. I mean with that many things it can be, it really saves me money. I am giving this as a gift. I have given it before and know it is of good quality. This is one of those items that every last drop is used. The shipping is great and well packed. I received this item as date promised which is a relief this time of year. I dont think a person can go wrong by doing business with Amazon as they seem to associate themselves with top notch companies that not only handle quality materials, but also keep good stock on hand. With this kind of report I will be doing business with them in the future.

Pros: Smells amazing, used it as a shampoo and didnt even use a conditioner or styling cream (I have curly hair), and it left my hair soft ad shiny. For me, the scent lasts.

Cons: Ridiculously expensive. They would really open up their client base if they would knock off like 10-15 bucks from their products. I mean, how expensive is this stuff to make, really? Also, the lather is pathetic. Not very creamy or rich at all.

I read the reviews that said this was a soft, clean scent. Since I have allergies, I have a hard time wearing scents at all. But, I thought I would try this one. I didnt find it soft at all. It is a clean scent but its like an over-scented shower gel. I found the scent to be a bit "sharp".

It is a really, really nice scent. No matter hiw much I put on though I cannot get enough of it. The lotion is also awesome. This is a staple in my fragrance wzardrobe.

I am giving this as a gift. I dont know much about the item itself, but sure it is good. I received this item as date promised which is a relief this time of year. I dont think a person can go wrong by doing business with Amazon as they seem to associate themselves with top notch companies that not only handle quality materials, but also keep good stock.With this kind of report I will be doing business with them in the future.

The fragrance doesnt last like the other Amazing Grace fragrances

I love all of the Grace lines. I started out with Amazing Grace and from there tried the rest. I use them every day. I have all of the perfume oils in the Grace line and this one is my least favorite. When you attempt to apply this, it runs out of the end of the rollerball. You never get to just roll it on. The smell is fragrant at first but once it is absorbed that is it. The smell is gone. The bath gel, spray fragrances, body lotions, etc all last. This is the only item in the line that just isnt worth the price.

I first came in contact with Amazing Grace while I was in the Hospital ill. I loved the scent. I will say that some Nurses wear some pretty ugly scents. Amazing Grace is had to put into words,but I went home and ordered some.
Now its funny, if your walking by I can detect it!
Many times I find they are Nurses..
I also get many inquires when I wear Simply Clinque.
